Cancellation, Transfer and Refund Policies

All requests for cancellation, transfer or refund cannot be processed until a written request is received.

Cancellation Policy: IPS, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any seminar at any time and for any reason. Normally, this happens only when too few participants are registered for a seminar. Every effort will be made to re-schedule you in a future seminar if a cancellation is necessary. It is recommended that you wait to receive confirmation prior to making any travel arrangements to ensure the seminar is taking place as scheduled. Consequently, IPS, Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for any transportation, travel, or penalty costs incurred by participants in making their travel arrangements. We suggest that you do not purchase restricted or non-refundable tickets for travel. IPS, Inc. assumes no liability for penalties or fare increases should a seminar sell out or in the unlikely event that a seminar is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason.

Transfer Policy: With a minimum of 30 days notice, a participant may transfer to a future seminar. All transfers are good for a year from the date of receipt of the written transfer request. An additional administration fee of $150 will be charged on all transfers. Please note that there will be no allowance for transfers if notification is received less than 30 days in advance of the seminar start date. There will be no charge for sending an alternate participant from within your organization for the same seminar.

Refund Policy: If you need to cancel, an alternate participant may attend in your place. If you are not able to find an alternate, then:

  • Notification of cancellation 30+ days prior to a start date of a seminar will result in a full refund less a $250 administration fee.
  • Notification of cancellation less than 30 days prior to a start of a seminar or if you do not show up at the scheduled seminar start date - no refund will be provided.
